Acknowledgement of Country

We pay our respects to the Traditional Owners of the land and waters of Yuggera Country clans, we acknowledge and honour your continued custodianship of the land and water of Tulmur where we find our home. We acknowledge our elders of past, present and emerging as keepers of the traditions, customs, cultures and stories of proud peoples. We acknowledge and honour your ancestors.

We pay our respects to the Traditional Owners of the lands and waters of Githabul[1], Bundjalung, Ngarabal, Wakka Wakka, Barunggam, and Gubbi Gubbi Country clans where we work and travel through. We acknowledge your elders of past, present and emerging.

  1. We acknowledge that through the passage of history, our knowledge of language & dialect groups, as well as clans, is in some cases hidden from our understanding. While sometimes we may get it wrong, we are always willing to learn more and be corrected. ↩︎

Why we Acknowledge Country
We are rooted in our own kinship with the land, a key to that is honouring the kinship First Nations people have.
